As a registered, non-profit society, VIDRA stewards 3 off-road motorcycle trail networks on Vancouver Island. We work in partnership with Rec Sites and Trails BC and hold a membership with the Off-road Council of BC (ORCBC).

We take pride in these trail networks and all are maintained through a combination of VIDRA fundraising, volunteer resources and grant funding where possible. When you visit these trail networks, please be courteous, safe, and clean.

South Island – Jordan River area
This is a true west coast rainforest, with rugged terrain, huge trees, and scenic views overlooking the beach.

Be prepared to find some gnar.

Whiskey Creek Rec Trails

Mid-Island – Qualicum Beach
At present, this is our most mature trail system, well-manicured trails, offering fun loops for riders of all skill levels.

Try “The Hock” as a fun endurance loop, or “Rollercoaster” for some fast ups and downs! “Kids’ Braap” is close to staging for the little riders.

North Island – Bowser
The trails at Cook Creek are twisty, rooty and can be very challenging.

There are opportunities for hard enduro style riding here if that’s your jam!

Memberships support our local riding areas!

Purchasing an annual membership from VIDRA supports our efforts to enhance and maintain our trail networks and staging areas, as well as hosting riding and racing events.

All the funds go directly to VIDRA.
